Hi All,
We busied ourselves on our tasks today dodging the showers of rain that threatened the quality of the output.
I started drying the bench seat off with a heat gun and soon had steam and smoke rising. The filler made from epoxy and fine permapine shavings is now in place and appears to have set. It will be interesting how it sands tomorrow.
Susan has made good progress on the deck despite the rain interruptions. I have a tarp over the bench area I dried. I had the cover off the camper today and all was dry after the 2 rainfall deluges we have had of recent days so that put a smile on my face too.
We have spent some time acquainting Kevin with the intricacies of Australian wildlife. What's hazardous and what is not which gives us an opportunity to show our blog. Sort of like the old slide nights people used to have! (sounds of snoring)
I must apologise to the fish down in the creek and dams. The other day on the blog i accused them of being feral gambusia. I caught one on the shovel when bridge building and it was a native galaxias. I threw in some worms by way of apology.
A lamb neck chop casserole for tea with vegetables. Very nice.
Night folks
Simon
