Evenin' folks,
Weather is always a good conversation starter. Coldest start to March in Tasmania in 54 years. Mount Wellington at 8am -2C but when the wind chill was factored in it was equivalent to -16C! We had helpexers who went on their day off to Mt Wellington today. They said it was cold, the hail was hitting them in the face and falling almost parallel to the ground.
I started the day with a couple of cleaning jobs until the deck was dry enough to sand. It was then a case of sanding and stopping as each rain band swept through and waiting for it to dry to continue.
Susan gave Tatiana training on the room cleaning.
Blackberries were picked in sufficient quantity(2.1kg)for Susan to bake 2 pies for the shared tea tonight. The shared tea was once again excellent and the pies were judged by Susan and I as the best yet!
Ilan the boss wants to talk to us about our plans so might have a bit more to report tomorrow night.
Night night cheers Simon
