Day 95 Bellingen Monday 10th September 2012

Hi Folks,

We have fallen on our feet for our latest HelpX. We are actually sleeping inside a house in a bed for the first time this trip.

Today's pictures are of the rendered hay bale construction.

We arose not too early this morning, well by 8. We had a leisurely morning but the old HelpX urge kicked in and we were soon doing a couple of little jobs. Feeding animals, mending a hole in the chicken run that was big enough for the sheep to dive through and collecting and washing eggs.

We left around midday saying goodbye to Carl and Rachel. The drive was uneventful. There is a rather long stretch of dual carriageway construction on the Pacific Highway before Coffs Harbor which according to my research is costed at $705M.

For once the GPS guided us exactly to the correct driveway for our host. We were met by Kevin and given a guided tour of the property. It is a little bit hilly and has had much remediation in the area of weeds. There are however still a few left to do.

We had an excellent tea of lamb stakes and roast vegetables followed by waffles. I can see we will have to do a fair bit of hard physical work here to keep the kilos off. Looks like it will be a lot of fun. The weather is still excellent.

Night folks

Simon
