Farewell Suzanne
Hi Folks,
A fairly damp day, the third in a row although the rain hasn't been overly heavy as indicated by the fact we haven't filled the water tanks yet.
It was just the gang of 2 helpers today with Morphine and Fanfan on a day off which included dropping Suzanne off at the airport. We had our farewell photo session inside today such was the inclemency of the weather.
I spent most of the morning demoulding the bathroom in Unit 7. I never actually got my head inside the chook house so today's egg count will be a mystery.
We had a community tea tonight consisting of soup, bread rolls, spinach and ricotta triangles and Atlantic Salmon cutlets all prepared by Charlene the cheesemaker who is staying on for a few days.
Tomorrow it looks like i will be focussing on inside maintenance trying to get rid of a few niggling problems.
We have 2 helpers arriving tomorrow, one returning (Weiting)and one new, Selina. It means Unit 7 will be called Little Taiwan at least for the rest of the week.
