Day 30 Gulmarrad Saturday 7th July 2012

Evening folks,

We had showers today but with sufficiently warm sunny breaks this morning to allow me to repair the vandalism i performed on the tent with the hypochlorite solution the other day. We had a couple of heavy showers late this afternoon and we are dry, so a successful repair.

In other news,
Susan's wire staples

Susan started the day per usual with a staple bending session which helps me out immensely as I use them fairly quickly fastening the wire to the bales.

Western end fully wired

Inside western end fully wired  (plus rain drops on lens)

Marching along the front wall with the plastic thrown up on the roof

Apart from painting the water proofer and feeding the animals I spent most of the day fixing the wire. The end really is in sight and I will be surprised if I am not finished tomorrow. I would have got  a bit more done today but the weather swept in before I was ready to finish and I was rushing around in the rain putting the plastic in position.
Susan popped into Maclean and picked up Kat a German Helpexer. She has an outgoing personality and seems like a good sort.

Rainbow over the house looking from our camper. We see a few of these!

As the rain patters down on the canvas it is just about bedtime.

night folks

Cheers Simon
