We had showers today but with sufficiently warm sunny breaks this morning to allow me to repair the vandalism i performed on the tent with the hypochlorite solution the other day. We had a couple of heavy showers late this afternoon and we are dry, so a successful repair.
In other news,
Susan's wire staples |
Susan started the day per usual with a staple bending session which helps me out immensely as I use them fairly quickly fastening the wire to the bales.
Western end fully wired |
Inside western end fully wired (plus rain drops on lens) |
Marching along the front wall with the plastic thrown up on the roof |
Apart from painting the water proofer and feeding the animals I spent most of the day fixing the wire. The end really is in sight and I will be surprised if I am not finished tomorrow. I would have got a bit more done today but the weather swept in before I was ready to finish and I was rushing around in the rain putting the plastic in position.
Susan popped into Maclean and picked up Kat a German Helpexer. She has an outgoing personality and seems like a good sort.
Rainbow over the house looking from our camper. We see a few of these! |
As the rain patters down on the canvas it is just about bedtime.
night folks
Cheers Simon
