We packed up this morning after a trip to the early morning
yoga class departing home at 6am. The class was a good exercise in stretching
and I am sure to be feeling it tomorrow.
We returned to Green’s Creek and breakfasted at around 9.
It was then on to the joyous task of packing. I think we
have reached the stage where we could probably do it blindfolded. It went
smoothly and after showering we said our goodbyes to Dan and Roxy at the end of
another great HelpX experience.
We departed around 1130 and journeyed into Gympie for Susan
to post a letter and for me to buy a bundle of new socks to replace my current
threadbare collection and some new leather work gloves.
We then allowed the GPS to take us on a circuitous route to
KinKin and the property of Jules our next host. After introductions, we had a
light lunch followed by a tour of the property and discussion of some of the
jobs to be done. We had a fiddle with the irrigation system to work out why the
flow in the system was so slow. I will
reconnect it tomorrow after tinkering with the controller and test.
I am not quite sure when this will make it into cyberspace
as we are out of mobile range. Our host has satellite internet but apparently
it is a bit on the slow side. I took a spin up the road and we do get the net
up the hill about 3km up the road so a few trips will be in order to stay
connected with the outside. Since I won’t be able to goof off on the net Susan
has suggested I will have to find some books to read or heaven forbid play
cards since the television is pretty underwhelming.
Anyway all items to be considered in the fullness of time
and the light of another day.
Night folks
Simon
