Day 255 Katoomba Sunday 17th February 2013

Howdy,

Concentration
We continued on with the painting today, mercifully the rain stayed away and we were able to get most of what we wanted to achieve done. Simon finished scraping and sanding back the front wall, and then applied a liberal coat of primer. I painted the window frames with a coat of emulsion 1 part and acrylic 4 parts. I decided not to mask the glass opting to paint as carefully as possible and clean up with the blade once the paint was dry. This worked well but I now have tender fingers from gripping the razor blade.

Tea was a slow cooked lamb casserole with couscous, followed by custard and fruit while watching the movie Avatar.

Tomorrow we find out about the starter motor, which will be good because at the moment I have to push start the pajero so that Simon can take it for a run and charge the auxiliary battery.

One, Two, Three
Stretch..... I don't think this is safe Simon!
Cheers

Susan
