Day 267 Mansfield Friday 1st March 2013

Hi Folks,

It was bug out day at Edi Campground, two groups departed before us and the family we spoke to the other day will leave as well. As we left we were able to see the extent of the camp area, it extended a bit further up stream with more flat areas which we didn't venture too because of large boggy puddles.

Simon has organised another talking book "Chemistry of Tears". Listening to talking books does make for a better trip, one because it is impossible to talk animatedly to each other for "x" hours of driving time day after day and secondly it quietens my mind from doing all sorts of planning, which I do later  discuss animatedly with Simon as he feigns snoring.

We were early checking in to my timeshare at Mansfield Country Club, well we did only drive about 70kms! Thankfully they let us in early, swapping our room to one already made up. We dropped of the trailer and headed into town for lunch and food supplies. Simon had to return later for forgotten eggs and the wine I was not going to buy. He is a darling sometimes! He returned with nibblies which we had at beer/wine o'clock feeling quite civilised after a bath, hairwash and clothes change.

Ahhh a week of holidaying ahead....
