Hi Folks,
I was up and on the bees with Anna at 750. The task was to remove some boxes of honey. This was made more difficult because the boards that allow the bees to go down but not come back up had been placed the wrong way in 3 hives. This was no doubt done by yours truly when we did the rebuild the other day. Although to be fair to me Anna said she should have noticed since we were doing it together. After that I repaired a hole in the garden irrigation pipe from some over zealous digging the yesterday and then went down to the nature corridor for a tidy up around a couple of the smaller trees. On my way down there I realised that as unit 1 had checked out I could do some painting which I did after deciding some filling needed to occur first.
Susan meantime was cutting the honeycomb harvested this morning into bite size pieces. She then continued decobwebbing, cleaned containers, processed the dirty linen from the cabins and cooked a turkey in the solar oven. It was delicious and moist even though it was cooked for 3 hours.
After tea I investigated why the wireless LAN extension wasn't working as it should. Currently I have a lot of info from my trials in my head and am trying to sort it into a meaningful conclusion. It was about 9 when I reassembled our internet and sat down. A busy day for all concerned. At least it wasn't too hot around 28.
night folks
Simon
