A rare occurrence overnight. While we were enjoying the coolness sleeping it rained a bit. Enough for it to run off the roof of the camper. This caused us to have a quick check to make sure the rain wasn't going anywhere it shouldn't. It wasn't and we returned to bed.
We headed up the road to Taree this morning so Susan could pick up her rings which she had some maintenance performed on. I made some enquiries re a new tyre or more particularly one to match my spare on the rear axle. Unfortunately there are none left of this type so I will think about this another day since it involves $279 per tyre.
Bennett Head
We headed back south to have a look around Tuncurry and Forster. Forster is a holiday town and there was plenty of traffic both road and foot in the main street and environs. The towns are sandwiched between the sea and Wallis Lake. We ventured down to Bennett head which is popular for sand boarding before returning to the main street. We had an excellent lunch at a deserted Indian restaurant. The price was pretty reasonable too certainly better than many we saw. We were able to watch some of the water activity on the lake while we ate.

Cape Hawke
After lunch we headed south to the Cape Hawke lookout named by Cook in 1770 and then down to Pacific Palms and Boomerang Beach. This area was certainly the most opulent in terms of holiday shacks. We returned to Nabiac for a home made pizza tea. We only had one small one each being still full from lunch.
That's it for the day.
night folks
