Day 65 Torbanlea Saturday 11th August 212

Hi,

A quiet day for us today. Susan has been laid low by her virus and spent most of the day in bed.
This meant I pottered on a few more tasks today. Namely a quick connect fitting for when I use the old solar panel controller that is glued to the back of the panel. I use that when I have the panels running separately, one on the car and one on the camper. I removed the box we store the water hoses in to fit some strips which will hopefully stop it filling up with water when it rains. The final task was fitting the new end clips to the spreader poles so they will stop falling down.
Susan in her lucid moments spent time deleting more duplicate files from her computer and advises the end may be in sight. Although I installed Treesize personal  for her and that has revealed more she didn't know about.

The rest of the pictures aren't exactly riveting viewing. This shows the revised inlet water for the heater you can just see the black pressure control valve in the bottom and the green flow control valve up top.

The supply pump with the new feed to the heater added

Tonight I went to the dinner party at Takura held by Catherine and Peter who were our HelpX hosts in 2010. It was a good evening with an Italian food theme. Catherine likes to go all out on the presentation and tonight was no different. I had intended to be home not too late but by the time dinner and desserts were eaten, beer was drunk and the drive home negotiated it was after 1030 when I unzipped the tent. Susan was on her third movie by this time. I am thinking we will delay our departure by a day to allow her to recuperate more.

Cheers

Simon
