Day 287 Nowhere Else Thursday 10th November 2011

Hi Folks,
It was windy and mostly sunny outside this morning. This triggered the drying out the camper activity. We ended up hooking it up to the car and turning it around so we could open the canvas out. This was the only way to get the mattress back in. When suitably aired and with any residual moisture gone we packed it away and put the cover on. I decided to seal the seams on the vinyl cover with "seam grip" a product that has served us well in the past. The tube was nearly empty and had a cured plug in the nozzle. However with judicious butchery i was able to get product out. There was almost enough to complete the job. I drove to Sheffield and sourced the nearest thing i could find which was good old "Tarzan's Grip" Much quicker drying. Anyway the seams are sealed. They look a bit ugly but as long as the water stays out i don't care.
Susan in the meantime was in the greenhouse completing the weeding. My only contribution being the carting of the multiple bins of weeds to the compost heap.
I then took up the wrestle with my new router and the Telstra USB modem. Another headache. Despite what the TP-Link webpage says they are not compatible. However my old modems I carry as spares are so we are running inside on that. I am now considering all the options for moving forward. Number one will be more nurofen for my headaches!
Susan made her capsicum relish this afternoon and it will be available for tasting in a couple of weeks. She also cooked tea of spare ribs and bread and butter pudding.
Tomorrow if time permits I will reload the roof bag. I can then wait for the next downpour to see if it and the trailer cover will keep the water out.
That's all folks,
Cheers Simon
